Postpartum Matters: Centering Black Maternal Health and Wellness

The Health and Human Services Facet of Tulsa (OK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, partnered with the Oklahoma Birth Equity Initiative (OKBEI) for another impactful Black Maternal Health Week event. This marks our second year collaborating to raise awareness during the nationally recognized week (April 11–17). This year, we focused on educating both healthcare providers and the community about postpartum wellness and the often-overlooked warning signs during this critical period.
